Writing a Resume When Youve Worked For the NSA
Writing a Resume When You've Worked For the NSAWriting a resume when you've worked for the National Security Agency is not a walk in the park. If you don't have the experience required to get you the job that you want, you might be better off looking for something else. While the NSA is not in the military or has an infantry division, they do work closely with the armed forces. All of them do. Most of the CIA officers are embedded in the Pentagon, the Army, the Marines, and the Air Force. The application forms used for NSA positions require that you answer whether or not you are willing to use your computer knowledge to conduct clandestine operations. You have to answer that question. If you are unsure of your answer, it is best to ask your recruiter if you can change your answer, and if so, what you should be changing it to.It is important to know that the primary purpose of the NSA is intelligence gathering. They may sometimes send operatives into hostile territory to gather informat ion, but the primary objective is to gather intelligence from terrorist organizations, including Al Qaeda, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. No matter how much you wish that you could go into a terrorist's house and smash his computer, or remove all of his hard drives, without the help of the NSA, your chances of success are slim. The reason why so many people can get hired by the NSA, is because they know how to get on that application form. Many of the NSA recruiters are very professional looking. They know that a resume that is filled with military jargon and military terminology will be thrown in the trash because no one wants to hire a 'military brat.'It is important to get to that point where you have all of the correct information for the form that the NSA is asking for. If you do not, or you make a mistake, you may find yourself being told that you are not fit for the job. When you've worked for the NSA, you will want to make sure that you do not go back to work for the organizati on. If you are asked to go back, you will need to have your letter of resignation from the NSA, and submit it before your original job contract expires. There are some people who only get asked to submit letters of resignation when they are hired by the NSA. Although, to be fair, there are people who are hired by the NSA, and then, when they look at the terms of their employment, they wonder why they signed up for it in the first place.
